Tree work is not a licensed profession. Sarasota County previously required businesses to register and pay a “business tax”. However, the Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners voted to eliminate the County Business Tax on July 9, 2024. As a result, the County Business Tax is longer issued, renewed, or collected.
Some incorporated municipalities still require business registrations. We are registered with the following municipalities:
